Ten cars stopped in front of a lavish 30-story building bodyguards rushed out of the the cars and surrounded the diamond black Rolls Royce (Phantom), the front door of the car opened and a well-built man in a jet black suit got out and opened the back door. A woman wearing a dark blue coat and blue heels stepped out, with beautiful siren eyes and a perfectly sculpted face with no emotions whose one glare is enough to bring anyone to their knees.
All of the bodyguards bowed to her and all they got in response was merely a nod.
The lavish building that was filled with happy voices and colleagues teasing each other was silenced by the entry of their owner, her aura was dominating and dark and was enough to make all of them quiet, as she walked through the corridors like a queen all of the employees bowed to greet her, it was as if she walked and the darkness was spreading with each of her steps her face emotionless and her eyes darted towards her path ignoring everyone.
This woman was no one except Ms.Meghna Roy founder of the biggest business empire 'Shadow Corporation', it is the biggest corporation in the world as it owns most of the businesses in the world the name of its owner is enough to get any work done. Being in the Shadow Empire is a flex itself because from a mere security guard to the CEO everyone has to be highly skilled and the best in their field, one of the reasons that Shadow Corporation is successful is because of the type of employees they hire all of the present employees are one of the most disciplined and determined people you will ever find, mistakes and errors are not acceptable here one of the biggest example of this is how this buildings aura is silent and black throughout the day because all of its employees are focused on their work its almost as if they are robots that are only programmed to talk and relax at breaks.
Everyone started their work and everything was quiet and everyone was focused the only noise that was echoing through corridors was the sound of Meghna's heels the click-clack sound that was both sexy and scary. Meghna stopped in front of a huge black door that had a black rose carved on it, the door was opened by her assistant Nick a well-built 6ft man with piercing green eyes, he is the best in his work and know what his boss wants from him. Meghna entered the black room decorated with some plants and wooden work, she took off her coat, sat on her chair, and turned on her computer.
"What are the meetings that I have today and with whom?" She said in a professional tone her eyes still focused on the computer screen, "Mam we have 5 meetings today 2 of them is with Mr. John and Mr. Sharma about the real estate project we are planning to do they wanna discuss the location and amount, other two is about the arms dealing contract with the European arms buyer head they have some issues they wanted to deal with you and the last one is with two joint companies that want to be your partner with the Lee brothers". Nick said in a calm and calculated tone.
Meghna nodded and ordered, "Send one of your assistants for the real estate meeting and inform them that the amount will not change it would be the same as we discussed if they have any problem they are free to back off, as for the Europeans you go and see what they want I don't have time for their childish arguments and the lee brothers can send their proposal in written and if I like it ill consider meeting them, Also arrange a meeting with advocate Gupta I want him to look at an urgent matter ."
"As you say mam, I'll get all of it done, mam may I know the urgent matter Mr. Gupta needs to look at if you don't mind?." Nick requested "It's a family matter I'll tell you about it before the meeting, for now, let's focus on today's work, do you get it?." Meghna said in a composed tone, nick nodded.
For the next 4 hours Meghna was focused on her work working on a new project, she was interrupted by a phone call from none other than her mother Anuradha Roy. Family is not something Meghna was blessed with her family is nothing just some snakes living with each other and somehow Meghna was nothing like them so she became the hated member of that so-called family that wants nothing but her money, the only thing that makes her want to go to that house is her 3-year-old nephew 'Vinayak Roy' who she loves more than anyone and the Roy family takes advantage of her love even her sister Vandana Roy Vinayak's mother blackmail her by threatening her by the name of her son Vinayak, her brother Anmol Roy is only in the family so that when he creates a problem or losses is money in casinos Meghna will help him out and her father Raj Roy hates her and is only there to make his old age easy. The most manipulative of all her mother she can make anyone her slave and make them do anything for her she used to show her fake love for Meghna but as she started to grow up by the age of 14 Meghna knew her mother would never love her, no one in her family will ever love her.
"We found the will, if you wanna see it come otherwise I'm burning it, it's not something that profits me anyway." Her mother said keenly and annoyed "I'll be there in 10 mins." Meghna said in a cold tone. As soon she disconnected the call Meghna didn't waste a second and put on her coat and instructed Nick to get the cars ready in 2 mins and to take her to the Roy mansion "serpent " The mansion's name describes the family well.
Meghna entered the huge mansion.
All of the servants bowed to her as she entered the living room.
MEGHNA'S POV
I entered the living room and saw my mother and sister sitting on the sofa, my father focused on his phone, and Vinayak sitting on the floor asking for his mother's attention but my bitch sister was just invested in her fucking world. Vinayak noticed me and ran towards me and hugged me i picked him up and kissed his cheeks he smiled cutely and asked me to play with him. I would have played with you baby spent the whole day with you but these bastards won't let it happen. I just made an excuse and said that I had some important work to do and he pouted and went outside to play with his caretaker.

As he went out all of the eyes were fixed on Meghna, she walked and sat on the sofa opposite her mother and sister. "Will." Meghna demanded and her mother rolled her eyes and threw a file on the table. Nick took the file and opened it and read it he showed it to Meghna turned her face to her mother and said" This is not a fucking will it is just a document that states where the will is, so next maybe use your words correctly ." Meghna taunted her mother her sister smirked and said: "Yes you are right my dear sister, you have really done an insane amount of hard work to find the will and now you know where it is so maybe go get it before I do because if I get that will remember you will never get what you want but you know what you still won't get the will because I got it good luck reading it sister." Meghna kept a straight face and went out of there to her car. As she sat in the car she was lost in her thoughts. Her thoughts were filled with the will and what might be written in it. The will is of Vinayak's dead father aka her sister's husband ever since she became successful she just wanted to escape her family but then her nephew was born and since that day her goal has just been to become the legal guardian of Vinayak and take him away from this toxic family but she couldn't do it without Vinayak's father she told the truth of her to him and he was ready to make her the person who get Vinayak's custody after him but just before they were about finalize the document he was killed. Meghna was lost as she didn't know what to do now but her informers found out that he had made a will and Vinayak's guardian was mentioned in it. And after so many she finally found and Meghna already got to know where the will was before her sister and the will her sister has is fake.
"Mam would you like to read the will right now?." Nick asked, "No we will read it together with Mr. Gupta I hope you know the reason for the urgent meeting now."Meghna asked with a raised eyebrow
Nick nodded in agreement and informed Meghna that the meeting is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock Meghna nodded and asked Nick to take her to her own mansion and for him to go to the shadow headquarters and finish the rest of the work.
Meghna entered her mansion the mansion only had 4 colors blue, black, grey and white and it looked breathtaking just like its owner.
the caretaker of the house greeted her with a smile and sweetly asked what she wanted to eat. Meghna lazily replied that she wanted to rest for some time and then she would think of eating and went to her room as soon she sat on her bed her whole body collapsed and her eyes were filled with tears.
